WI makeshift team facing another whitewash

The West Indies makeshift side is now facing another whitewash from Bangladesh after suffering a three-wicket defeat in the second One-Day International at Roseau in Dominica yesterday.



As a result of the victory the visitors have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series, which concludes on Friday at St Kitts’ Warner Park.



It was Bangladesh first One-Day series triumph against a current Test-playing nation.



Two days after beating West Indies in a one-dayer for the first time, Bangladesh chased down the home side\'s 274 for 6 in 50 overs by reaching 276 for 7 with six balls to spare.



Travis Dowlin top scored for West Indies with a memorable maiden One-Day International century. He made an unbeaten even hundred.



Bangladesh were led by captain Shakib-al-Hasan, who cracked 65 off 61 balls, and Mohammad Ashraful, who hit 64 off 77 deliveries.



Bangladesh swept the Test series 2-0.
