Jamaican colt for T&T Classic

The outstanding Jamaican three-year-old colt Bruce on the Loose is among 15 starters declared for Trinidad and Tobago’s Midsummer Classic at Santa Rosa Park on Saturday.



Bruce on the Loose, which arrived in Trinidad and Tobago last week is being trained by John O’Brien.



The colt, previously trained in Jamaica by Philip Feanny, will be ridden by Florida-based Venezuelan jockey Wilmer Galviz.



Bruce on the Loose will run from post position seven.



The Midsummer Classic is the second leg of T&T horse racing’s Triple Crown.
