England selectors name rookie batsman in squad

England selectors have handed a shock call-up to Warwickshire batsman Jonathan Trott for the fourth Ashes Test against visitors Australia, which starts at Headingley on Friday.
The uncapped right-hander is included in a 14-man squad, which also features seamer Ryan Sidebottom, but left-arm spinner Monty Panesar is omitted.
The South Africa-born Trott could provide cover for all-rounder Andrew Flintoff, who is struggling with a knee injury.
Flintoff was arguably the key player in the second-test win that put England 1-0 up but failed to take a wicket in the last match and labored through 11 overs on yesterday\'s final day.
