Guyana\'s Opposition Leader, Robert Corbin, is dismissing accusations of diversionary tactics, ahead of a hotly contested leadership challenge later this month.
Mr. Corbin has been leading small anti-government street protests over allegations of government links to a convicted drug trafficker Roger Khan.
The general secretary of the ruling People\'s Progressive Party (PPP), Donald Ramotar, says Mr Corbin is using the allegations to score political points ahead of his party\'s leadership election.
However, Mr. Corbin, who heads the People\'s National Congress Reform is insisting he’s pursuing the matter in the interest of Guyana.
