Misick losses appeal
The Former premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, Michael Misick has lost his appeal against the British government to suspend the territory\'s constitution.
Mr Misik was seeking to have the court overturn a previous ruling by the High Court in London.
The decision to suspend the constitution came after a report by the Foreign Office in London said that it had found systematic corruption and serious dishonesty in the islands\' administration.
The rejection of Mr Misick\'s bid for a judicial review, means that the British government can now go ahead with its plans to turn over the administration of the Turks and Caicos Islands to the British governor Gordon Wetherell.
Governor Wetherell will be responsible for the day to day operations of the British overseas territory for at least two years.
