Reggae Boyz beat St Kitts
Jamaica’s national senior football team is scheduled to arrive at the Norman Manley International Airport in another 15 minutes after defeating hosts St Kitts and Nevis 1-0 in an international friendly last night.
The game was played at Warner Park Stadium. Devon Hodges scored the lone goal in the 55th minutes.
The game was the second for the Reggae Boyz in four days following a 0-0 all draw against Ecuador last week.
Meanwhile, Waterhouse and Boys’ Town will contest the final of the inaugural Claro-sponsored preseason Kingston and St Andrew Football Association’s Champions League.
Waterhouse, behind a 110th minute extra-time strike from substitute Roberto Fletcher, defeated August Town 1-0 to book their place in the final last night. The game was the first of a double-header at Tony Spaulding Complex.
In the other game, Tivoli defeated Boys’ Town 4-1 to advance.
The final will take place tomorrow at the same venue.
