IAAF collected 350 blood samples

Anti-doping officials have collected 350 blood samples from athletes competing at the world championships, plus another 100 samples to be tested for the human growth hormone.



Gabriel Dolle, the director of the IAAF’s medical and anti-doping department, say the testing started on August 11.



About 140 urine samples also have been collected. No positive tests have been announced.



The IAAF, the world governing body of athletics, is the conducting its most comprehensive testing program to date, with more than 1,000 samples, about 600 of them blood tests, to be carried out during the championships that end Sunday.
