Jamaican Chris Binnie for Caribbean Area Squash tournament

Chris Binnie remains the only Jamaican contesting the individual championship at this year’s Caribbean Area Squash Association Senior tournament at the South Sound Squash Club in the Cayman Islands.



Binnie has advanced to the men’s final following a fighting victory over number two seed Shawn Simpson of Barbados in the semifinal.



Binnie won the contest 13-11, 12-10, 11-7. Earlier the Jamaican got the better of Guyanese Kristian Jeffery 11-5, 11-6, 11-5 in the quarterfinal.
