England wobble against Australia

Peter Siddle claimed four wickets to help give Australia the edge on today’s opening day of the fifth and deciding Ashes test at The Oval as England reached 307for eight at stumps.



The hosts have already lost in form captain Andrew Strauss, Paul Collingwood and all-rounder Andrew Flintoff.



Opener Strauss went for 55, Collingwood for 24 and Flintoff playing in his final test for seven.



Ian Bell has so far top scored for England with 72 while debutant Jonathan Trott scored 41.
