Jamaican women advance to Campari Caribbean Poster Girl Finals
Four Jamaican women have been selected to represent the island in the Campari Caribbean Poster Girl competition for 2009.
The four women were unveiled at a party last Friday at the Fiction Lounge in St. Andrew.
Ten women vied for the spots but only four were chosen. The four will compete in the first ever Campari Caribbean Poster Girl competition and they are Kerry-Ann Baylis, Dionne Ellis, Sarah Ann Dunn and Renee Gayle.
According to Campari\'s Brand Manager, Trishauna Kirlew, \"the selection process was a tedious from start to finish including makeup challenges, a photo shoot and advertisement writing and recording. In the end, Campari chose four (4) women with sass, sophistication and eloquence.”
The finalist will move on to St. Lucia to participate in the Caribbean finals. Other contestants who will contest the title hail from a number of Caribbean islands including Trinidad, St. Lucia, Bahamas and Grenada.
The winner of the competition will walk away with a number of prizes including, frequent travel to represent the brand at different regional locations, a full makeover courtesy of Campari and loads of publicity as the face of the brand in the region.
Selma Hayek, Eva Mendes and presently Jessica Alba have all represented Campari as International calendar girls.
