Brash and Sassy wins feature

The debutant three year old filly BRASH AND SASSY with jockey Andre Martin won today’s feature event at Caymanas Park, the Dr Clifford Grey Memorial Cup over 1300 metres.



BRASH AND SASSY, which is a half sister to 2007 Derby winner THE BOMBER, got the better of the 3-1 choice KING’S LAW with Shane Ellis to win by three-quarter lengths.



BRASH AND SASSY offered odds of 6-1.



Another four lengths behind in third was SHE IS A MAHARANEE with Paul Francis.



Francis has so far ridden two winners on the eight-race card. His winners were VENICE MELESSA in the third race and THE BEST MAN in the fifth race.
