Foster-Hylton to compete at Aviva British Grand Prix
Jamaica’s new sprint hurdles World Championship gold medallist, Brigitte Foster-Hylton, is slated to compete at Monday’s Aviva British Grand Prix.
Foster-Hylton is one of several World Championship’s medal winners down to compete at the meet.
Foster-Hylton will clash with Britain’s newly crowned young heptathlon World Champion, Jessica Ennis, in one of the main attractions at the meet.
Top Americans Dwight Phillips, Tyson Gay and Bernard Lagat are also booked for the meet.
Also Monday, a number of Jamaicans will compete in the Zagreb Grand Prix event in Croatia.
Among the Jamaicans are Steve Mullings and Michael Frater, who are down to compete in the men’s 100 metres; two-time Olympic 200-metre champion Veronica Campbell-Brown, who will run in the women’s 100 and Olympic and World Champion 400-metre gold medallist Melaine Walker.
