The International Cricket Council, ICC, and the Pakistan Cricket Board have settled a dispute over the staging of World Cup 2011 that was moved out of Pakistan due to security concerns.
ICC president David Morgan says Pakistan will retain their host fees and will also receive compensation for the loss of hosting rights.
The agreement was reached following a meeting in Dubai yesterday between Morgan and Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ijaz Butt.
Pakistan lost the right to host international cricket matches after Islamic militants attacked Sri Lankan cricketers on their way to play a test match against Pakistan on March 3 in the city of Lahore.
