In-form Jamaican Brigitte Foster-Hylton is among the top athletes who will compete at the Aviva British Grand Prix today.

Foster-Hylton will race in the 100-metre hurdles where she will clash with Britain’s newly crowned young heptathlon World Champion, Jessica Ennis, in one of the main attractions at the meet.

Foster-Hylton clocked a fine 12.51 seconds to win her first global medal at the Berlin World Championship and last Friday she delivered a world leading 12.46 seconds to win at the Zurich Golden League meeting.

Two other Jamaicans are down to run at the meet. They are Dwight Thomas, who competes in the men’s 110-metre hurdles and Mario Forsythe, who runs in Race two of the Men’s 100 metres.

American Tyson Gay will headline the men’s 100-metre field.
