Canada tax deal announced

Canada has announced the signing of a new tax information-sharing agreement with the Netherlands, which covers the Dutch Antilles.



Finance Minister Jim Flaherty says the move is part of efforts to curb tax evasion.



Caribbean and other financial centres have been rushing to negotiate information-sharing deals to comply with new international rules.
