United Nations member states are gathering in Geneva for a five-day conference on climate change.

The World Climate Conference will be looking at ways to help countries cope with the current effects of climate change.

The changes include more frequent incidents of flooding, droughts and landslides.

According to a BBC correspondent, the conference is aimed at promoting early warnings for remote areas in respect of climate change.
