Schoolboy season kicks off tomorrow

The Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/Pepsi/Digicel schoolboys’ football season gets underway tomorrow afternoon with a triple-header at Jarrett Park in Montego Bay.
In the opening game, defending Manning Cup champions St George’s College will tackle Eltham High at 1 p.m.
This will be followed by defending DaCosta Cup champions St James High against Spot Valley High at 3:20 p.m. and Maldon facing Cornwall College 5:15 p.m. in another DaCosta Cup game.
There will be a dress parade of teams as well as the official opening ceremony set to take place after the first game.
Thirty-nine schools will contest the Corporate Area Manning Cup, while 77 rural area schools will do battle in the DaCosta Cup.
