Manning, DaCosta Cup competitions continue today

The second set of games in the 2009 ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel Manning and daCosta Cup competitions will kick off this afternoon.



The corporate area Manning Cup features six matches in two Groups.



In Group ‘B’ the games are Kingston College hosting Ardenne at Clovelly Park, Norman Manely at home to Haile Selassie at Tinson Pen and Jose Marti hosting St Jago.



Over in Group ‘C’are Calabar and Campion College face off at Calabar, Cumberland play Trench Town at Cumberland and Excelsior at home to Tarrant.



The rural area daCosta Cup features 13 matches in five zones.



Among the games are Herbert Morrison hosting Green Pond in Zone ‘A’; William Knibb playing Browns Town and York Castle tackling Marcus Garvey in Zone ‘D’.



All matches are scheduled to begin at 3.30 p.m.



The season kicked off on Saturday with daCosta Cup champions St James High hammering Spot Valley 4-0, while Manning Cup champion St George’s College had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Eltham High.
