Jamaica's Anti-Doping Appeals Tribunal to make ruling on athletes

The Jamaica Anti-Doping Appeals Tribunal is expected to make a ruling this afternoon regarding the other four athletes who returned Adverse Analytical Findings for the drug Methyl-Hexanamine at the National Trials between June 26 and 28.



The athletes are Yohan Blake, a training partner of Usain Bolt, Marvin Anderson, Allodin Fothergill and Lansford Spence.



The fifth athlete Sheri-Ann Brooks was cleared on September 2 after the Appeals Tribunal upheld the not guilty verdict handed by the by Ken Gammon-chaired Disciplinary Committee in August.



The Disciplinary Committee also cleared the other four athletes but the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission has appealed the rulings.



The Appeals Tribunal, chaired by retired Court of Appeal judge, Justice Ransford Langrin will meet at the Institute of Jamaica on East Street in Downtown Kingston at 2.30 p.m.
