JC, Penwood face off

Last year’s beaten finalist Jamaica College will bow into action for the first time this afternoon as the 2009 Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/Pepsi/Digicel Manning Cup competition continues.



JC will be looking for a perfect start when they host Penwood in a Group ‘A’ game.



Also in Group ‘A’, Waterford will host Donald Quarrie while Pembroke Hall play away to Edith Dalton James.



Wolmer’s will also be in action for the first time. The Heroes Circle-based school will be at home against Clan Carthy in Group ‘D’.



Other games in the group are Papine against St Andrew Technical High School and Meadowbrook playing Camperdown.



Over in Group ‘E’, Holy Trinity and Tivoli face off, St Catherine host St Andrew College and Bridgeport play Kingston High.



All matches are scheduled to begin at 3.30 p.m.
