DaCosta Cup Round Up

Former champions Glenmuir High hammered Tacius Golding 6-0 yesterday to get their Zone ‘I’ ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel daCosta Cup campaign off to a good start.



Manchester High were also involved in another high scoring game. They thrashed Cross Keys 6-0 in Zone ‘F’.



Over in Zone ‘H’, Clarendon College had a narrow 2-1 victory over Denbigh, while Anchovy won by a similar 2-1 margin over Irwin High in Zone ‘B’.



The competition continues this afternoon with champions St James High playing away to Muschett High in a Zone ‘A’ fixture.



St James High started their campaign with an emphatic 4-1 win against Spot Valley on Saturday.



Among the other first round winners who will be on show this afternoon are former champions Cornwall College, William Knibb, Marcus Garvey High, Bog Walk, Ewarton, Islington, St Mary Technical, Port Antonio, St Thomas Technical and Seaforth.



All games are scheduled to start at 3:30.
