St James defeat Muschett High

Reigning champions St James High School made it two wins from two starts in the ISSA/Pepsi/ Digicel daCosta Cup competition yesterday when they blanked Muschett 2-0 in their Zone ‘A’ fixture at Wakefield, in Trelawny.



In other Zone ‘A’ games, Spot Valley High surprised two-time champions Herbert Morrison Technical 1-0 on their home turf at Spot Valley, while Green Pond had a 2-0 victory over Maldon.



Over in Zone ‘D’ Cedric Titus beat Ocho Rios 4-0, while Brimmervale edged Oracabessa 1-0 and St Mary High defeated Iona 1-0 in Zone ‘K’



Over in Zone L (A) Port Antonio edged Fair Prospect 1-0 and Happy Grove beat Buff Bay 3-0, while in Zone L ‘B’ St Thomas had a 2-0 victory over Seafort and Paul Bogle scored a similar 2-0 victory over Yallahs.



The competition continues tomorrow with 36 matches across 13 Zones.
