JDF beat Urban Knight

The Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) carved out a 65-48 victory over defending champions Urban Knights in the Flow National Basketball League last night at the Stadium Courts.



It was the second straight victory for the JDF following victory over Runnin’ Rebels in their opening game on Sunday.



Urban Knights were losing for the first time in two games.



For the JDF, Raymi Franklin ended with 15 points and eight rebounds while Feurtado Clarke had 14 points and 10 rebounds.



Urban Knights’ Dave Blackwood had a game high 16 points and seven rebounds.



In the night’s other game, Portmore Flames rebounded from their opening round defeat to beat Braves Chiefs 66 to 53.



The league continues on September 22.
