Antigua\'s opposition leader Lester Bird was yesterday thrown out of parliament after he was involved in an argument with the speaker of the House.
The argument followed disagreement over who should be allowed to speak during debate on the Companies Amendment Act.
Mr. Bird accused speaker Giselle Isaac of disrespecting him as a former prime minister.
He was then asked to leave, prompting a walk-out by other members of his Antigua Labour Party.
