Egypt beat T&T 4-1

Hosts Egypt beat Trinidad and Tobago 4-1 in the opening match of the FIFA Under-20 World Cup at the Egyptian Army Stadium today.



Striker Afroto gave Egypt the lead in the 30th minute, but Jean-Luc Rochford equalized six minutes later.



Arafat and Mohamed Talaat scored early in the second half, with goalkeeper Glenroy Samuel at fault on both goals. Arafat completed the rout in injury time with an angled shot from the edge of the penalty area.



The competition continues tomorrow with Paraguay playing Italy in Group A\'s other game.



Also tomorrow, Nigeria play Venezuela and Spain face Tahiti in Group B.
