The four-day netball series between hosts Jamaica, Australia and New Zealand next month was launched earlier this afternoon at the National Commercial Bank Wellness Centre.
The National Commercial Bank will sponsor the series to the tune of $2 millions.
Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls will play Australia on October 17 and 18 and New Zealand on October 20 and 22nd.
There will be no matches between Australia and New Zealand.
All games will take place at the National Indoor Sports Centre in Kingston.
President of the Jamaica Netball Association, Marva Bernard is expecting Jamaica to gain from the series.
Bernard further says there are plans to launch the country’s first pro league.
