Manning Cup Round Up

The perfect record of Bridgeport High came to an end yesterday when they were held 1-1 by Tivoli in their top-of-the-table Group ‘E’ ISSA /Pepsi/Digicel Manning Cup match at Edward Seaga Stadium.



Bridgeport still hold the lead in the group with 13 points, three ahead of Tivoli with 10 points.



In the other Group ‘E’ games, Kingston High and St Catherine battled to a 1-1 draw, while Holy Trinity and St Andrew College played to a goalless draw.



Over in Group ‘A’, unbeaten Waterford High edged Pembroke Hall 2-1, Edith Dalton James outscored Penwood 5-2 and Jamaica College blanked Donald Quarrie 5-0.



Over in Group ‘D’, St Andrew Technical High School hammered Meadowbrook 6-0 and Wolmer’s beat Papine 3-0.



The competition continues tomorrow afternoon with nine games.
