The ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel daCosta Cup competition, Zone ‘E’ leaders Munro College and third place St Elizabeth Technical High School, STETHS recorded big victories yesterday.
Munro registered a 6-0 victory over Black River High while STETHS blanked Newell High 5-0.
Munro now moved to 13 points, two ahead of second place Balaclava High, who clipped Lacovia High 1-0 to climb to 11 points.
Over in Zone ‘D’ Cedric Titus edged William Knibb 1-0, Marcus Garvey defeated Brown’s Town 5-0 and Ocho Rios blanked York Castle 2-0.
Over in Zone ‘F’, Manchester beat deCarteret College 5-0, Belair had a 7-2 victory over May Day and Bellefield blanked Cross Keys 2-0.
In Zone ‘H’, the previously unbeaten Clarendon College were surprised 2-1 by Vere Technical, while the match between Claude McKay and Lennon was rained out.
