Sunshine Girls bow into action today

The first staging of the World Series Fast Net Championships in Manchester, England begins today with Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls in action.
Jamaica will play three matches on the first day of the three-day championship. They open their account against Australia at 9:15 this morning Jamaica time. The second match will be against Samoa at 1:30 in the afternoon followed by a game against New Zealand at 3 o’clock.
The other teams taking part in the tournament are hosts England and Malawi.
The Fast Net Championships is a new initiative by the International Federation of Netball Associations to increase the profile of the sport.
Each match will be played over four six minute quarters.
