Jamaica-born Simeon Jackson registered a superb 10th goal of the season Saturday that clinched a 3-2 victory for Gillingham FC over Wycombe in the English League One, according to a report on www.cananews.net.

Jackson, who plays internationally for Canada, hit a brilliant winner in the 77th minute after Mark Bentley had locked the game for Wycombe 15 minutes earlier at 2-2 at KRBS Stadium.

Joshua Gowling sent Gillingham ahead in the 16th minute and Craig Woodman replied in the 27th for Wycombe.

Curtis Watson restored Gillingham\'s lead a minute before halftime and Bentley rallied visiting Wycombe with a 62nd minute goal.

Jackson got the winner 13 minutes from the end with a fine lobbed shot that snatched three points to delight Gillingham\'s manager Mark Stimson.

\"No other player on the pitch could have scored that goal,\" Stimson said.

Jackson, who missed the previous two games because of a hamstring injury, collected a long ball from Gowling and turned well before chipping a perfect shot from 20 yards over Wycombe\'s goalkeeper Scott Jackson.
