Jamaica, Dominican Republic face off today

Jamaica and Dominican Republic will face off in a top-of-the-table clash in the second round of the Caribbean Football Union Women’s Under-17 World Cup Qualifying Series in Curacao this afternoon.



The game is scheduled to start at 5:30 Jamaica time at the Ergilio Hato Stadium.



Both teams are locked on three points in the four-team Group ‘B’ standings after Monday’s opening round.



The Young Reggae Girls drubbed Aruba 8-nil while the Dominican Republic stopped Netherlands Antilles 4-0.



The group winner earns an automatic spot in the CONCACAF playoff set for Costa Rica next March, while the runners-up face the Group ‘A’ runners-up at a later date. Group ‘A’ will be contested at later this month.
