Peter Crouch scored twice as England completed their World Cup qualifying campaign with a 3-0 victory over Belarus today.

The lanky striker scored in the fourth and 76th minutes at Wembley as Fabio Capello\'s team, which had already qualified for next year\'s championship in South Africa, made it nine wins in 10 group matches.

The result left England with 27 points, six more than Ukraine, which finished second.

Belarus finished fourth with 13 points.

Meanwhile, three-time world champion and Group four winners Germany scored in injury time to draw 1-1 with Finland and qualify unbeaten, with Russia drawing 1-1 at Azerbaijan.

World Cup holder Italy rallied from 2-0 down in a meaningless match to beat visiting Cyprus 3-2, while Ireland finished six points behind in Group 8 after a goalless draw with Montenegro.
