Under 21 competition continues this afternoon
Retired fast bowler Curtly Ambrose will be among the past and present West Indies players who will arrive in the country today ahead of Sunday’s playing of the second annual Christopher Gayle, CJ Sports Pro 15/15 Cricket Extravaganza for charity.
Former West Indies captain Richie Richardson, Ridley Jacobs, Dinanath Ramnarine, Ramnaresh Sarwan and Sulieman Benn are also scheduled to arrive today.
Those players will join up with local champions Courtney Walsh, Jerome Taylor, Xavier Marshall, Wavell Hinds, Carlton Baugh Junior and Gayle for the one day event, which will feature three knockout 15 overs a side matches.
Others down to participate in the spectacle include Winston Benjamin, Pedro Collins, Corey Collymore, new West Indies Under-19 recruits Akeem Dewar and John Campbell, and Olympic and World double sprint champion, Usain Bolt.
The event, which will be held at St Ann Bauxite Sports Club, will begin at 9:00 a.m.
