New South Wales set themselves up for a possible revenge rematch with Trinidad and Tobago when they crushed Victoria by 79 runs in today’s first Champions League 20/20 semi-final match at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in South Africa.

Man of the match David Warner cracked a blistering 48 in New South Wales’ 169-7 off 20 overs and Victoria replied with 90-9 in the all-Australia clash.

Bowling for New South Wales, Moises Henriques ended with 3-11, Brett Lee had 2-15 and Nathan Hauritz took 2-25

The second semi-final will take place tomorrow in Hyderabad between T&T, the only unbeaten team in the tournament so far, and South Africa’s Cape Cobras.
