The popular Elbow Beach Hotel in Bermuda is set to close its main building due to the impact of the global financial crisis on the island.
It was named one of the world\'s top 500 hotels this year.
Elbow Beach officials say the hotel will lay off about 160 employees by the end of November.
Spokeswoman Danielle DeVoe says it will also be closing down 131 rooms and would be out-sourcing food and beverage services.
