Digicel Premier League Round Up
Leaders St Georges earned a 1-1 draw against Boys’ Town in their rescheduled Digicel National Premier League game at Collie Smith Drive yesterday.
St Georges took the lead in the eighth minute through a Nigel Reid strike, but the home team pulled leveled through Dean Thompson in the 76th minute.
Following the result, St Georges now moved two points clear of reigning champions Tivoli Gardens.
Meanwhile, in the other rescheduled game Harbour View extended their dominance over Rivoli with a 1-0 victory at Spanish Town Prison Oval.
Lovell Palmer scored the winning goal in the 46 minutes.
Harbour View now moved to third place in the points table on 15 points, three behind leaders St Georges.
The competition continues on Sunday with a full slate of matches.
