Creary, Brathwaite among the runs again

Andre Creary of Jamaica and Barbadian Kraigg Brathwaite were again among the runs yesterday in the second President’s Cup practice match for the West Indies Under-19 team.



Yannick Ottley’s 11defeated the Dalton Polius’ 11 by 5 wickets.



The exciting Creary, who made an unbeaten 91 in the first practice match on Sunday, scored an unbeaten 50 as Polius’ 11 were bowled out for 183 off the final ball of the 40th over.



Spinner Yannick Carriah took 4 for 30.



Braithwaite followed up his first match 48 with a knock of 56, and along with John Campbell 54 added 121 for the first wicket before they were both asked to retire out.



Ottley’s 11 ended on 184 for 5 in the 36th over for an easy win.
