The World Health Organization (WHO) says tackling just five health factors could prevent millions of early deaths.
In a report, the W.H.O said poor childhood nutrition; unsafe sex, alcohol, poor sanitation and hygiene, and high blood pressure have been contributing for around a quarter of the 60 million premature deaths around the world each year.
It said battling these problems could increase global life expectancy by almost 5 years.
