Woman says King should be banned for life
The woman groped and punched by Jamaica international footballer Marlon King says the player should receive a life ban from the game.
Twenty-year-old Emily Carr says she suffered permanent damage after the $35,000 pound-a-week star broke her nose in a West End club when she rebuffed his advance.
The married father of three was celebrating his wife’s pregnancy and scoring a winning goal earlier that day.
Carr says she was minding her own business with friends and had her back to the footballer when he groped her.
She says it was done in a sexual way and she was really offended.
She says 10 minutes later, King returned and after poking and prodding her and pulling her hair, punched her, knocking her to the ground and leaving blood streaming from her nose.
