Ronaldo still has ankle injury

Real Madrid star player Cristiano Ronaldo is still suffering from an ankle injury.



The Portugal forward, who has been sidelined by a right ankle injury for nearly one month, underwent a medical review today that showed no progress on the injury.



The Spanish club says that Ronaldo cannot return to training with the team and will continue undergoing treatment on the injury.



Madrid had been hopeful that the 24-year-old winger would be available for Saturday\'s derby against Atletico Madrid. Madrid trails Spanish leader Barcelona by one point after nine games.



Ronaldo has scored nine goals in seven games since his move from Manchester United, with Madrid winning every game he has played in.
