213 entries for CBA Badminton

The Jamaica Badminton Association has received 213 entries for the Chinese Benevolent Association-sponsored tournament, which serves off tomorrow afternoon at 6 o’clock.
The first day will feature play in the B and D divisions. There will be play in men’s and ladies’ singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
Action will continue over the weekend with the Open and C divisions. The finals are scheduled for Monday, November 9.
Che Beckford is the defending champion in the men’s B division, while Carla Grant is the defending champion in the ladies’ B division.
In the D division, Jon-Ross Newman is the men’s champion while Crystal Smith is the ladies’ champion.
