Bangladesh complete series victory over Zimbabwe

Naeem Islam hit an unbeaten 73 as hosts Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe by one wicket today in the fifth and final limited-overs One-Day International to seal the series 4-1.



The game was played in Chittagong.



Bangladesh reached their target of 222 with one over to spare with Islam the only batsman to pass 50.



Mahmudullah Riyal 33, Rogibul Hassan 31, Mushfigur Rahim 23 and Shakib Al Hasan 20 supported Islam.



Stuart Matsikenyeri, 2-25 and Justice Chibhabha, 2-52, returned best figures for Zimbabwe.



Earlier, an unbeaten 118 from Brendan Taylor, his first one-day century was the highlight of Zimbabwe total of 221-9 off 50 overs.



Shakib Al Hasan, Abdur Razzak and Mahmudullah Riyad picked up three wickets each for Bangladesh.
