Pakistan chasing massive score

Pakistan, replying to New Zealand’s score of 303, were 110 for 1 after 24 overs in the second one-day international at the Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.



Khalid Latis was dismissed for 45 off 52 balls.



The batsmen at the crease are opener Salman Butt on 48 and Younis Khan on 14.



Earlier, opener Brendon McCallum hammered 131 from 129 balls to help set up his team’s big total.



Martin Guptill chipped in with 62 from 70 balls, while Jacob Oram scored 33 and skipper Daniel Vettori 30.



Shahid Afridi, Umer Gul and Abdul Razzaq picked up two wickets a piece for Pakistan.



New Zealand are trailing 1-0 in the three-match series.
