Waterford beats Eltham High

Waterford High defeated Eltham High 1-0 earlier this afternoon to move closer to a semi-final spot in the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/Pepsi/Digicel Manning Cup competition.



The match was the first game of a double-header at Spanish Town Prison Oval.



Oshane Greeves scored the only goal of the game in the 30th minutes as Waterford moved to maximum six points from two games in the quarterfinal round.



The second game between Bridgeport High and Norman Manley were locked at 1-1 at Sports Time.



Dean Phillips handed Norman Manley the lead in the 11th minute, but Bridgeport High equalized through Dorian Mattocks three minutes later.
