Jackie Bell Round Up

Cavalier defeated Central Kingston 4-1 on penalties yesterday at Winchester Park in Group ‘B’ of the Confederation Preliminary round of the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association’s Claro sponsored Jackie Bell Knockout competition.



The teams had battled to a 1-1 draw after full and extra time.



In other games the Jamaica Defence Force beat Whitfield Town 3-1 on penalties at Up Park Camp following a goalless draw after full and extra time. Rae Town blanked Allman/Woodford 2-0 at Heroes Circle and Barbican edged Seaview Gardens 1-0 at Barbican Oval.



The competition continues this afternoon with four games in Group ‘C’ of the Confederation Preliminary Round.



The games are Maverley/Hughenden against Browns’ Town at Maverley field, Cooreville Gardens playing Santos at Cooreville Gardens, Bull Bay facing Rockfort at Bull Pen and Shortwood United against Duhaney Park at Shortwood field.



All matches are scheduled to kick off at 3:00 p.m.
