The Jamaica Defence Force (JDF), and St Georges Slayers secured victories last night as the Southern Conference of the Flow-sponsored National Basketball League continued at the Stadium Courts.



The JDF, led by Feurtado Clarke with 16 points and 9 rebounds and Stephen Spence with 15 points and 9 rebounds, defeated Selassie Gardens 73-68 in last night’s first game.



From Selassie Gardens, the top performers were Kemar Cohen with a game-high 25 points and 5 rebounds and Richardo Willis with 14 points and 4 rebounds.



In the second game, St Georges Slayers beat Arnett Gardens 71-63.



Top performers for St Georges Slayers were Michael Jackson with 17 points and 9 rebounds and Howard Daley with 16 points and 9 rebounds.



From Arnett Gardens, Vivian Spence had a game high 21 points and 8 rebounds, while Arnel Campbell scored 20 points and 6 rebounds.
