The Bharrat Jagdeo Government in Guyana has indicated that it will be turning to the Chinese Government for help to address the country’s electricity supply issues.
The government said it is partnering with the Chinese to resolve power outages which have been a feature in Guyana for decades.
The government said it has bought two new generators to help with electricity supplies.
While Guyana no longer suffers from days of power outages like in the late 1970s and 1980s, sections of the country still face blackouts.
