Frank Lampard out of Brazil friendly

Frank Lampard has been ruled out of England\'s friendly against Brazil because of a left thigh injury.



With David Beckham staying in the United States to play for the Los Angeles Galaxy in the MLS playoffs and Steven Gerrard back in England recovering from a groin injury, the team is without three of its most experienced players for Saturday’s game against the five-time World Cup winners.



Lampard injured his thigh in a training session in Doha today and is returning home to recover.
