Hoopers a win away from lifting western title

Hoopers will be aiming to wrap up the best-of-three finals in the western phase of the 2009 Flow sponsored National Basketball League today when they face Catherine Hall All Star in Game 2.
The game will take place at the Montego Bay Cricket Club Courts, starting at 6:00 p.m.
Hoopers lead the series 1-0 following a 66-52 victory in Game 1 on Saturday night.
Should Catherine Hall win tonight, and push the series to Game Three, that match will be played outside of western Jamaica at the National Indoor Centre in Kingston on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Majesty Gardens and Tivoli Gardens Wizards will be looking to secure their spots in the Southern Conference final today.
Game two of the semifinals will take place at the Stadium Courts with Tivoli Gardens Wizards playing St Georges Slayers at 6:15 and Majesty Gardens opposing defending champions Urban Knights at 8:00.
Games one of both semifinals were played on Saturday night with Tivoli Gardens Wizards defeating St Georges Slayers 86-79, and Majesty Gardens beating Urban Knights 73-66.
