Bridgeport advance to Manning Cup semis

Bridgeport High School have joined defending champions St George’s College, Excelsior and St Andrew Technical in the semi-finals of the ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel Manning Cup competition following the final set of quarter-final games yesterday.
Bridgeport High booked the lone spot after hammering neighbours Waterford 8-0 at Spanish Town Prison Oval and Eltham outscored Norman Manley 4-2 at Constant Spring field.
Bridgeport High, Eltham and Waterford all ended the quarterfinal round on six points. However, Bridgeport advanced through goal difference.
